Sarah
Dr. Sarah Ekdawi has taught English as a Foreign Language for over thirty years. She studied Modern Languages (Greek and French) but has come to Arabic late in life, with mixed results. Sarah was educated at the Universities of London, Oxford, and Dublin (Trinity College). She holds degrees in Greek, French, and Applied Linguistics; diplomas in teaching and translating (one under a false name, asserting her fictitious ability to translate Turkish technical documents), and certificates confirming that she once swam twenty-five yards breast-stroke and received basic First Aid training, but not at the same time. Before university, she went to school but she didn't like it much.
